tc 30 questions

During this search t find the perfect tractor at the perfect price I came across a 2005 TC30, standard tranny with the NH FEL and 4WD, canopy, and a 5' shredder. It is used and has 35hrs on it, for for a price of 13,000.00. It looks new and is a very nice tractor, and the price seems good. This is my first look at a NH, and I have some questions. I hope this doesn't offend anybody because I don't mean to.

1, Is the price good? I have to pay cash or finance it myself which is a bummer.

2, The fenders seem kinda flimsy. Has anyone else noticed this?

3. The lift capabilities aren't too great when compaired to say a L3130, but 3200.00 less than a new one and I get the shedder and conopy too. Do you who own a TC30 find it capable of doing what you want it to do?

Anything I should know about this tractor? This will be my first tractor with a loader, so maybe I'm too worried about what it will lift. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. MP

I have a tc30 gear tranny, 7308 FEL, 5 ft cutter and other goodies. I like it. Now price, I bought mine new this year, tractor, loader, cutter, and 16 ft trailer was $16,500 if I remember correctly.

I just signed the contract on a TC30 with Hydro, upgraded Loader to an aftermarket Woods 1009 with better specs than the factory one, a rear remote, 3rd function to front of loader with integrated loader control, and a block heater.

Delivered for 17100.

I am sure I got a good deal from feedback on this forum and through my negotiations with multiple dealers.

It's a good price. As for the fenders, they're metal, and shouldn't move too much. I sold these tractors for a few years, and yes it's a good one. At 35 hrs., it's not yet broke in. As for the lift capacities the 3pt. should lift around 1500 lbs. and the loader similar. Both exceed the JD790, but not what the Grand L series will pick up. Parts are reasonable, and depending on the year model you should have some warranty left.
