Tc 33 flasher (yellow lights) blows out

THe flasher is located behind the dash and is a $2.99 part at pep Boys but has blown twice in 5 years .. any suggestions. BTW 650 hrs and no major problems

Lets see that's $2.99 times two = $5.98 spent in the past 5 years.........
