So have read thru all the topics on this. I just replaced the fuel filter 2 days ago. after it wouldn't start for me. Felt like it was out of fuel. Ran great for a day. Started it today and it started to act like it was out of fuel again with a full tank. I just filled this up and I checked it for water in the fuel and there is none that is obvious.

I don't really want to have to replace another fuel filter but that is what it comes down to then so be it. I pulled my whole console off my tractor to look inside the tank to see if it was plugged. There is nothing in that tank it was clear.

I pulled my injector lines trying to see what is going on and nothing is pumping out of them. How does the injection pump work? Could that have gone bad?

Have you bleed the air out of the injectors after installing the fuel filter?
Plenty of threads about that here.

Sorry, just read your last line.
I always go back to the last thing done before something changes.
I would recheck the fuel filter.

Make sure the screen at the shutoff valve is not clogged. Most diesel fuel systems have them.

So figured out that my dam valve on my fuel filter housing wasn't turning all the way. It was stuck about 1/4 way shut.

For whatever reason the valve itself was working itself out and the screw was not keeping it in. So when I was turning it all it was doing was scraping the plastic on the inside and not actually turning the valve.

Simple, understandable fixes are always a good thing.
