Price Check TC 33 Price check needed

Could some of you give me a little perspective on this??

2003 NH TC33D, 4x4, TURF TIRES, NH FEL, NH 914 MMM, 36 hours(traded in) looks in excellent shape. Asking $18,500.

What do U think?

Not sure if this is helpful, but I'm also considering a used TC33DA, same year, with just 75 hours from a private party. It has the LA14 loader and MM 72" mower, he's willing to take $17,000. Honestly, I'm still debating, because I don't really need the mower...but it's tempting. New, this rig would price out at $22,000 here in PA, without the mower, $19,500.

What do others think of this deal? Personally, I think it's probably fair, but to be honestly I wouldn't pay more, considering the 2 years of warranty that you are losing.

I'd suggest finding out what the loan value is on the tractor. They are expensive units new, but the bottom line is that the tractor is soon to be 3 years old. The fact that it has only 35 hrs. is a plus, but I think that 18500.00 is a little high.

Area, has a lot to do with pricing. Does it have Super-Steer or any other items on it. That tractor brand new should run anywhere from 20 to 23K again depending on area. Hopefully someone in your area will chime in better here. Also what might be helpful is what size mower and what loader does it have?

Make a low offer, he can only say no. As far as being three years old I would not worry about it unless you plan on selling it in a couple of years. Otherwise most keep them for a long time.

Just signed contract (12-29-05), for TC33DA, R-4s, HST, & 14LA fel, for $19,450. NH dealers in 200 mi. radius were within $500 of each other. As previously stated, and doing a lot of reading on this site about pricing, I have to agree, location does make a difference, & an individual should state his when asking for a price check, or at least have it listed in the personal info.

Thanks, & Hello thcri, I'm liking it already, and haven't taken possession of it yet. (coming from another dealer, my dealer will then have to mount the fel). Going to be a change, getting off of a 1715 w/9x3 tranny & no fel. I'm a little apprehensive, as wife does a lot of the shredding on our property. That loader bucket will be new to her. Looking through their options, I wish NH would offer a buddy seat, & dual controls, kinda like a driver's ed. car /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Had to hunt this thread down, & add to it. Took delivery of my TC33DA couple of days ago. After posting that I was concerned that my wife hasn't run a tractor with a fel, I left the dealer with my new toy, drove home, unloaded, & while parking it next to our riding mower, YES!!!!, I hit the rider with the bucket!!! No damage, except for some Cub Cadet yellow on the black painted bucket. Good thing I had a "rattle can" of black to cover the OOPS!. I'm kinda ashamed to mention that I used to operate heavy equipment for a living!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
