TC 35D Radiator

Well, it seems as if I'm going to have to replace the radiator in my 35D. It must have taken a stick or something before I owned it and the repair job on the core has started leaking like a sieve. I'm going to see about having it re-cored, but my experience with that is it usually costs as much or more then replacing the radiator, at least around here.

Just curious is anyone happens to know if the stock radiator is interchangable with anything else? I'd sure love to run down to our local wrecking yard and pick one up rather then calling the NH dealer, which I'll have to do on Tuesday barring some other miracle.

I don't think you will find any suitable replacement. I think you will either have to get your current radiator repaired or buy a new one. I have never heard of anyone finding a suitable junkyard replacement.

I have to agree with Jim, bone-yards aren't going to solve this problem.

Thanks for the notes guys. I'm gonna give it one shot, just cuz there's a huge junk yard down the street that has all its radiators stacked up and i can compare mine to see what's what. If my time was worth more then about 10 cents a minute, I'd be money ahead just buying one, but I've never been one to win prizes for my intellect. If I happen to find something, I'll buy up all the used ones and have a sale for all the other NH guys out there in need. What will probably happen for real though is that I'll spend a day mucking around then run down to the dealer anyway.
