I think I can get close, but it will take a scale for the exact number.

Tractor - 3,500 lb
Loader w/Bucket and edge - 1200 lb
Loaded Rear Tires - 900 lb

About 5,600 lb total weight. I just call it 6,200 lb as a good round number when I have my 700 lb boxblade on my tractor. I don't think that is exact, but it's not too far off.

Thanks for the reply Jinman,I used the 6200 figure when I registered the tractor today. Now I have to figure out where to put the plate.I'm also going to do the 50 hour tommorrow if I get a little time.

I was looking at the operator's manual for my TC40A the other day and on page 4-13 (specifications section) it says that the FWD weight (bare tractor) with ROPS is only 2,679 lbs. However, in the on-line specifications sheet, the weight of the TC40A is listed at 3,405 lbs (w/ ag tires). So, is the bare tractor weight the weight without the wheels on it? Or is one of the numbers incorrect?

mundamanu,

By jove I think your right. I never looked at the on-line specs that closely before. It makes sense too from the standpoint of different wheel widths (& therefore weights) for the different style tires.

For the TC40DA, on line specs (with ags) is 4,026 lbs. I would think the weight could easily increase by a couple hundred for the wider R4 tires. (front & back).

My tc40 manual says 2,860 lbs for bare weight of tc40da. the manual is dated 5/06 and is for PIN Number Z6DB01001 and Above. so i guess they weigh different weights over that last few years. bought mine 4th quarter 2006. i have a lot of plastic (hood, fenders, etc...). i expect a lot more weight if they were metal as an older model would have.. :)

I think that "bare" weight must mean without tires and wheels. I believe the weight is 3,480 lb, approximately, dry weight. I just round it up to 3,500 lb.
