My partners and I bought a TC 40 4x4 in 2000 to take care of our business property. At the same time we bought a 5' bush hog, 5' box, and 5' finish mower. I am wanting to buy them out. What is a fair price? The equipment is in fair condition, the tires are worn from being on concrete.

Did you buy it new? Have you followed the service intervals? Do you have the service records? How many hours? Does it have a FEL or a joystick and loader bucket connection for same? Please submit photos of the tractor and implements in order to get a fair appraisal from this membership as it is a nice tractor for the right price.

In 2000, a TC40 4x4 tractor without loader went for about $14.5k new if my memory serves me. I'd say it might be worth $10k to $11k depending on condition. The implements I would look at 1/2 original value to a high of 2/3 original value. The boxblade would retain most of its value and the finish mower next. Normally a rotary cutter sees a rough life and it is the one I would want to keep at or near 1/2 original price.
