The TC18 had to be sent back to the dealer today. The MMM did not lift evenly. The tech could not get it to lift like it should here so he wanted to take it back to the shop. There was a problem a few years ago with the lift stop being too tall. They'll confirm the remedy with NH before doing it though.
Problem #2 is I can't get one of the loader pins out, to remove the loader. I tried everything, pressure from bucket down, bucket even with the ground, every combination there is. The tech "Bud" said it was pretty hard getting it in when he assembled it, but felt it would be okay..........NOT!! Seems things are just in a bind on the left side.
So off it went, home with Bud for the night /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
But he said he'll meet me here at home tomorrow after hours again to bring it back...... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm following someones suggestion to see where he and his wife like to eat. Seems they haven't been out alone for years, since the kids came along. So I guess it's my choice where they eat........ON ME. He just lives 5 miles or so away, so he asked if we'd join them. What a guy. I think maybe it just needs to be the 2 of them.

Re: Update

The TC18 returned home tonight. The deck lifts level all the way up now. No cutting on the lift stop, just a few adjustments to the front lift arms on the deck. The NH manual was way off on how to set everything up. Bud set it up according to the manual, but we can see it never did lift right.
He was in a hurry to get it to me I guess. But it's working great now. The cut is less streaked on the lawn because the deck is level now, front to back, side to side.

The FEL problem seems to be a mis-alignment on NH's welding jig IMHO. Bud drove the pins out after BREAKING one. No wonder I couldn't get it out /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
He took a die grinder to the holes and cleaned them out and straightened them up somewhat. Now both loader pins are able to be pulled out by hand when you have the bucket level on the ground.
I did check to see if there was too much "slop" now that the holes were worked on..........nope looked good.
All in all I have to say he has me satisfied. He felt really bad about having to come back out for a service call. He said it reflected on his job in a bad way. He also felt bad he kinda tore up the yard trying to turn the trailer around last night. But hey, now I have another project for the loader now /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. And besides the yard is so wet, wasn't his fault.

After we had all of my concerns taken care off, remember all of this is after hours, I offered him an adult beverage and presented him a card good for a free dinner for him and his wife. Just find a sitter and go out and have fun. This guy has my vote for Super tech /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh yeah.......returned it full of fuel AND WASHED. With a hat from the dealership, a can of BLUE paint , a can of GRAY paint , linch pins and some washers he wants me to use on the transport pins so they won't fall off. What a guy.
