Thanks again to all of you!!!! I'm still considering the Tc21d with 600 hrs, but I didn't get a chance to go see it yet. The dealer was very informative, but he's about 35-40 miles away. As far as the place in VA, where is Fredricksburg at??? I travel to nothern VA sometimes. There maybe a chance I could get to the dealer. Thanks Again Guys!!!!!

Steelfan: Check with the dealer on any service records they may have. If they were the original dealer or servicing dealer they may be able to give you some info. Also ask if they will do a service check on the PTO, and other hydro parts as part of the deal. What it means for them is they will get warranty work if it needs anything, and if it doesn't they get the unit sold.

Remember, the diesel tractor engines are, basically, industrial engines. Would a diesel generator suffer undo harm after 600 hours? I don't think so... (unless all hours are at low(<1000 RPM)). These engines are designed to run at constant speeds for a long time. Low RPM's though, aren't good on any engine...one can pound the main bearings. However, diesel engines have heavier bearings then gasoline engines.
Since the farmer who had the machine used it for running equipment, there's little doubt he ran it at an efficient RPM.

Odd he had a loader on it, though.

Thanks again to everyone , who replied. The warranty thing is a great idea. Is there a limit on Hrs when it comes to warranty work????? The deisel engine I'm sure is still in good shape. I still haven't got a chance to go see it. I' hoping to go this weekend. Thanks again

Correct
