I haven't seen many 24D owners here so I don't know if this will generate much response, but I'll give it a shot.
Received a price quote for a new TC24D today. Here is the breakdown:
TC24D Hydro - $10,000
12LA FEL - $ 3,550
756C Backhoe- $ 5,200
60" MMM - $ 2,200
Total - $20,950 + Tax
A quote yesterday from a different dealer was $23,900 for a similar package. The difference was his quote included a Woods 6500 backhoe (3PH mount) instead of the NH hoe.
So, it seems like today's quote is pretty good. I would appreciate any comments.
BTW - Yesterday's quote came from a dealer about an hour away from me. Very nice salesman, well established company, large inventory (NH and Kubota - more Kubota than NH), etc. I would feel very comfortable buying from them. Today's quote is from a dealership owned by a neighbor of mine. 15 minutes to his store. Been in buisness about a year - decent tractor inventory, limited parts inventory, small service area. In other words - he still neds to grow his buisness. However, as I have known him personally for about 6 years, I certainly trust him and the advice he would offer. He worked for his dad's Kubota dealership for many years before venturing out on his own. The reason I bring all of this to your attention is the quality of the dealer always comes up when you fine folks are offering advice. And while there are distinct differences in the "feel" of each of these places, I would not hesitate to do buisness with either. However, the price difference makes this a no-brainer if y'all think today's quote is a fair price.
