A couple of other things I should probably mention. The transmission on the geared TC series (at least up to the TC33) is not synchronized. The top 2-3 gears can be shifted on the fly fairly easily. Attempting to shift lower gears without stopping will be rewarded with a nasty gear-nashing noise.
Also, the TC29's stick shift being by the steering wheel makes it _VERY_ convenient for loader work and the like. I don't think I'd be as positive about my geared TC if its shifter was closer to the floor (as it is on the TC25S and TC33S).
I want to thank you for suggesting Bechard's I talked with Mike Bechard today and he gave me a very good price on a TC33D. It was nearly $1,500 less than the next closest quote.
I did not try out the "S". But both my wife and I drove the "D" model and were very satisfied.
I'm thinking of maybe trying to get up to Bechard's this weekend.
