TC25D Dash Lights

Any Boomer owners have problems with the dash lights? I know there was a problem on some Boomers with fogging of the instrument panel, but don't recall reading of problems with the dash lights. I checked the 7.5 amp fuse and it looked fine, but I replaced it anyway. Still no dash lights.

Mike, I don;t know if the setup is the same as on Class III boomers, but I have had a couple problems with 'in-line' connectors working loose. I know it is pretty tight under instrument panel, but you might check to see if their is such connection.

Thanks, Paul. What's the easiest way to get under the dash, pull the panel or some other way?

Mike, if your instrument panel is like the Class III Boomers, you just unscrew four phillips-head screws from the top and lift it out. It's "easy as pie."/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Jim, thanks for the tip. The TC25D has 2 screws, one on the left and one on the right, to hold the dashboard on. I took them out, pulled the dash panel out and found a whole lotta dirt on the back of the dash, probably from digging post holes in some very dusty ground. I blew the dirt off with all the lung power I could muster, and the lights came back on! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Mike, my TC45D only has two screws also. I guess I'm getting old./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif I thought I remembered four screws, but when I checked my tractor, it only has two./w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif It may even be the exact same part as yours. I'm glad you got your lights working./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
