TC26 loaded up with fuel and quit

I had a similar problem with a Isuzu truck, every now and again she would act like fuel starvation, I went through all the process as you did. Problem was an inline screen filter. A small filter fitted inside the end of the fuel line where it connects to the injector pump, it was filled with tiny particles, I expect that sometime they would move around and allow some fuel flow, but finally clogged, a pre-filter?. Filter was similar to that used on the water supply line on a typical clothes washer.

bird watcher - Thanks for info, as might come in handy sometime. My TC26 has fuel filter in bowl just before injector pump, so probably doesn't have one of those screens like in your truck. But, who knows? Maybe has screen too. Anyhow, good info to have.

Jim - What's the drilling of ROP's? Roll over protection? I've worked with a fair amount of tubing over the years, including space frames for racing cars and other stuff, and drilling holes can affect strength (and result in failures) if not done right. If there's a thread on this, and you give a link, I'll take a look at it in case I can help.

No Nick, I put the laughing emoticon because ROPs drilling/modification is something discussed regularly here on TBN, almost as much as HST vs. gear and synthetic oil vs. dino oil. It's one of the eternal arguments like Ford vs. Chevy, conservatives vs. liberals, etc. . . .
