Hello,
After 800 hours it appears I'm in need of a new water pump and have been quoted a replacement cost of $200.00.
It seems to me that the pump should last longer than 800 hours and that the replacement cost is rather high.
Does anyone have a reputable source for such an item with more realistic prices.
Thanks,
Ben

My pump started dripping from the weep hole at 1000 hours. Dealer thought it should have lasted a little longer but it didn't. My dealer had a few options for replacement; new CNH, rebuilt CNH or aftermart rebuilt. Prices varied; I paid 135.85 in 10/05 for mine.

I just bought a rebuilt water pump for my tractor. I seen cheaper ones but this guy has a 100% positive rating. I ordered my pump, he called me and verified he was sending the correct pump, told me how to make sure and I received in two days!

Thanks Casey.
Everything you said about this source proved true. I sent him a photo of my pump and within two days I received a rebuilt unit at 1/2 the price of a new one.
Thanks again.
