TC29D fuel filter

I always fill my boomer from clean 5gal plastic cans and have never had fuel problems. But, I am always working on equipment from a horse farmer that always has fuel problems. It seems like they are filling their fuel from dirty green bird baths through a old vacuum cleaner hose.

Walter...there is a lip around the top of the tank right ? Mine had a 1 "high lip and when rain blew under the roof where I had it , it accumulated at the bung hole where the pump was and got in the tank...I covered it with a tarp and no more problem from blowing rain..

Also have you checked to be sure your tank filer is indeed a water filter and not just a trash filter...?

There is a drain hole in that lip around the filler. My hose was clogged when i got my tractor. Cleaned it out.. . Been great ever since

Replaced the rubber tray and hose twice due to it deteriorating and splitting.
Filter on bulk tank does sediment with a glass bowl on its bottom to drain from.
