TC29D stalling when hot

   / TC29D stalling when hot #21
I've never seen "varnish" form from regular diesel fuel. And since it wasn't algae it must be from some kind of fuel substance. Gas will definately do it and so will biodiesel. I'm betting the tank got some biodiesel in it and that is what made the stuff.

Algae looks like dark mud and is slimy and doesn't stick like varnish dose. I fought this stuff in the boat tanks for a long time, and so have many others.

My 29DA had the same symptoms, twice. Once it was a small piece of plastic that came down the fuel line and blocked the inlet to the filter. The other time it was fueling up with gasoline instead of diesel
