tc29da or 33da with 756c hoe? Is this combo wrong?

Hi. I am thinking of buying a tc29 or 33da, can't decide which. I had pretty much decided on a tc24d, but after trying a 29, I like the feel of it better. In the meantime, my dealer had ordered a 756c hoe to go on the 24d. Well, at this point, if I move up to the 29da or 33da, will I want the 757c, or would the 756c be fine? I know it's subjective. My work is basic stuff - digging holes for trees (need to fully landscape 1.5 acres from bare cleared dirt, all stumps already gone), a few utility trenches, etc. But, I don't want to get a hoe that is obviously too small for the machine it's mounted on. The price diff between the 756c and 757c is about $1000.00. Thanks for any input.

Personally I'd go for the 757, but that is subjective. I've had 5 hoes all progressivly bigger and never found any too big. I had a 758 on my 2120 (same size as TC48) and it worked fine. I think you may find the 756 kinda small, no so much in digging depth for the type of work you are doing but in terms of reach and how many times you have to move the tractor for things like trenching.

You may have just answered your own question. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I have never used a backhoe, but for your needs, it sounds like the 756 should work. If you are concerned about the issue and are able to get the 757, I would go for the 757.
