Just got back from the dealer and he is offering the TC30 with HST and an SMC FEL with R4's for $16,995. He is also offering 0% for 60/m, zero down, no payments for 90 days. Obviously the financing offers cannot be beat, but what about the pricing?

I'm not sure what an SMC loader is, and without knowing if it is with loaded tires, block heater, 4x4 etc. it's hard to say. I can tell you this; in the northeast, where we usually pay a little more than other parts of the country, the TC30's are going for $17,900 to $18,900 with a New Holland 7308 loader, 4x4, HST, loaded R4 tires, and block heater. List exactly what it comes with and the guys on here will tell you very accurately what you should pay. Good luck!

Apparently a company called Alamo-SMC OEM's loaders for a variety of manufacturers including NH, Case, JD, Kubota, etc.. The dealer said he got a bunch of them and they are basically the same loader as the 7308. It had a rolled top lip and was 60" wide with hole pattern for tooth bar. I recall him saying it had 1000lb capacity but I will need to confirm that. Other then that, nothing special, no fill on the tires, no blockheater required for my part of the country.

Here are the basics:

4x4, HST, 1.7 hours, R4 tires, Alamo-SMC FEL, $500 cashback or Free posthole digger = $16,995

This is what I found on the loader, I was off by a 225lbs.

On a side note - It seems (at least around here) the NH tractors are not as popular as the Kubota's and John Deeres but they definately seem to out-spec and out-price their comparable models. Is this just a lack of the NH marketing or something else? Is the capability or quality of these any worse/better? I appreciate comments..

I would say all the Big 3 are of comparable quality. New Holland hasn't done quite the job of Kubota in marketing and John Deere has there reputation to rely on. Personally I prefer New Holland machines because of the good experiences I have had with 6 of them.

Fill the tires with RimGuard of other nontoxic liquid. I would never use a loader without filled tires, you're asking for trouble. My dealer won't sell a loader without filled tires without the customer signing a wavier.

I agree with Andy about New Holland not doing as good of a job as Kubota on marketing as well as John Deeres' reputation helping them sell tractors. I also like how the New Holland specs-out against it's competition for the most part. I have heard from several others here on TBN that New Holland is more expensive in comparison where they live as well. The funny thing is, around here ( meaning NH and VT ) they are cheaper than both Deere and Kubota. I had one local Kubota dealer tell me that the reason prices are better on the New Holland is because resale is lower. I don't buy into that from the used prices that I've seen on them vs. deere and Kubota. I still see more Kubota and Deere machines total here too, but I have been seeing more and more New Hollands around for the last couple of years. I think that the tides are starting to turn. I think that it is hard to beat New Holland as far as I'm concerned, not that I would turn my nose up at a Kubota or deere. I think your price is about the same or possibly a little cheaper than my dealer would charge for one. My dealer has yet to quote me a price that wasn't well below our other New Holland dealers around here. I would buy it for that price, although I would want to check the price and possibly get a New Holland loader ( Why, I don't know, that loader is probably fine /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif ) Good luck !
