How do does this quote sound from a dealer in NE Pennsylvania:
TC30 HST 4wd R4s - 16700
6 ft Landpride RFM - 1475
NH 757C backhoe - 5000
Total deal: 23,175 To me the backhoe is seems pretty good. Don't no about the rest.

Ray, does the basic tractor package include a FEL? If not, I think $16.7K is way too much. If a FEL is included, is it a NH or another model? The difference can run over $1K so it's not a trival question. I have a Rhino FEL on my TC 30, and while I am happy with it, if I could do it all over I'd opt for the NH. If the package includes a NH FEL, $16.7 is still a bit pricey even for a HST machine, but not too far out of line for your area based on what I have seen. If the FEL is a 3rd party, then I think $16.7K is too much.

It looks like NH is running their promotional 0% financing again (36 months) so now is a great time to buy. Also, make sure the price includes fillign the tires for ballast. You'll need the extra weight back there.

I am in central VA & purchased from Tarheel in NC. I had a great experience with them, but lots of folks will tell you that buying from a distant dealer can be challenging since the locals do not like to work on equipment you didn't buy from them. I took the risk, and so far I've been happy. I've been buying filters and such from the local dealer, and so far they don't seem to be shunning me and my out of state tractor. I figure I saved over $2K by buying from Tar Heel, so it made sense to me to take the drive to NC.

I've never purchased a RFM or BH so I cannot be much help to you there.

The tractor may be a tad high but that's a really good price on the backhoe. Total package price isn't too far out of line if it includes the 7308 FEL. Might try to talk the dealer into throwing a few things into the deal like free delivery, 50 hour service and don't forget a couple of hats.

I also added a toothbar and canopy to mine for a really fair price. Just something to think about.

Good luck,

Rodger

Ray, I think that the price seems good in reference from where I live. The dealer that I bought mine from a few years back,is selling them for $17,500 or so now, which would include the loaded tires, and block heater and what you have listed. Boy, I wish that I lived closer to the dealers that are selling the New Hollands so cheap!! My dealer is the cheapest around NH, and Vt selling New Holland. The Kubota and Deere dealers are way out there for price, which is ok as I now have grown to love the color blue! The backhoe sounds like it is a 3 point hitch mount, so if you want a more rigid, industrial sub-frame mount than you will be talking more money. I know this dealer of mine gets $7,000+ now for the New Holland 757 hoe with the sub-frame and required deluxe drawbar hitch that you'll have to buy for the frame mount. The TC30 comes with the standard drawbar from the factory. When I bought my 6' Woods RFM with the sale of the tractor 4 or 5 years ago ( I think ) it cost me $1,850 back then. I haven't priced the landpride now or then so I'm not sure how that price is, but it doesn't sound too bad to me. I am however, use to, or more like, accepted the higher prices around here as a way of life. Let us know when you get it with pictures.
