Can someone tell me the width of a TC30 track with R4's? I have a 60" rear finish mower. I was wondering if I should sell the mower when I sell my tractor and bump up to a 72" mower when I get the TC30.

I've never measured the actual width of my TC30 with R4's, but the owners manual states it to be 62" so your mower will be a little narrower than your track. I use 5ft rotary bushhog on my pasture and just overlap a little ,but for finish mowing you might want to go with a 72" mower. If you don't try to mow very tall grass the TC 30 should handle a 72" with no problem.

Thanks. I guess my next question would be - What's the width on the TC30 with AG tires?

MDM, you will be fine with ags. I have a 60" rotary mower and it easily covers the tracks, but I would not choose ags just because the 4R tires might be a little wide. Keep the mower, buy the tractor, and if you don't like it, replace the mower later. But, that's just my opinion.

My 60" rotary cutter does not cover the rear track of my TC-30 with R4's,
my 72" rfm does with plenty to spare

If your mowing taller grass the 72" may be a tad big for the TC30.

out of the 4 pto driven implements I have, tiller, PHD, rotary, and rfm, that 72" rfm by far, put the least strain on the tractor, like none. If you are trying to cut taller grass?? with a rfm, you better raise it, or use a rotary cutter, The first thing that you will damage when you clog the deck is the belt in the rfm, not the tractor, pto shaft or gearbox on the rfm.
You already have the 60" rfm, it will do great,
If you can swing a deal for a 72" in the mix, great to,
It is nice having the rfm 4" plus wider per side than the tractor when mowing the lawn.

If you do step up to a 72" rfm, get the rear discharge deck, it is better for appearence, closer cutting on both sides, and cutting taller grass
