We have a TC33 with a bad fuel gauge. (pn 86540853) Our local supplier is back ordered (like so many things in our world these days). I looked it up online and they want a ridiculous amount for it, $170. So I want to replace it with something else.
But the body of the gauge is only 1 inch diameter, and of course the dial is not circular, and everything I'm finding is 52mm. Has anyone else already found something that would fit?
If I could find any 1 inch electrical gauge I would just remove its dial and pop it in with the faceplate from the TC33. It doe snot even have to be a "fuel" gauge. preferably 12V in the 35-250 ohm range so I don't have to modify that too, but an electric gauge is an electric gauge.
or if you have another idea shoot, suffice to say i have done the troubleshooting and it is the needle not returning below half
thanks
james
