New Holland TC33 2003
Hello all , I just joined when searching for answers . I have a 2003 Tc33 New Holland and I messed up and grabbed the wrong fuel can . Had two just a like , one was used all the time , the other may have had a little water or oil in it .
Picked it up on a job site , loaded it , hauled it home , dorve it out of the trailer and put fuel in it .. stated it up and drove it about 75 feet , one puff of white smoke and slowly died..
I drained all the old fuel , when to town and got a new fuel filter and fuel .. Put is on , added fuel, cracked the lines and can not get fuel up to them ..The new fuel is off road so it is red.. the fuel I drained was not and it seem like it is milky looking ....
Are these systems hard to bleed or is there something else I should be looking into .. Thanks in advance , I can see I will be spending a lot of time here .. Swamp Rooster ...

SR- Welcome to TBN. You may still have some residual water (and maybe crud) in the fuel system. PowerService 911 (Red Bottle) may help you rid the fuel system of the water. Use as directed. It is not recommended to use 911 all the time; only as needed. PowerService has other formulations to raise Cetane level, add lubricity, lower cloud point/gelling temperatures, etc. One can mix these formulations according to the manufacturer. One can "double strength" PowerService White Bottle to further reduce the gell point. There are other manufacturers of similar products like Howes.

A Mr. Funnel fuel/water separating funnel really does remove water from fuel contaminated with water (and crud) during fill up.

I hope that this helps.

Good luck.

Thanks jbrumberg . I drained the tank , put new filter on , bled lines , got it running .. ( I did put Howes in the new fuel ) .. It ran rough about two hours , underpowered , .. Thought it might work its self out .. Stopped and looked .. filter was cloudy and dis-colored on the bottom of the container again.. I am now draining fuel , and will put a new filter on , new fuel..
Kind of wondering if there is a way to clean the tank with out taking it off or is that not necessary yet ?

SR- Thanks to the reduced sulfur content required of diesel fuel nowadays nasty microbes can become a buildup problem in your fuel system. You need a biocide additive to your diesel fuel. I've never needed it. PowerService sells a product called Biokeen that removes that microbe "mucus." Howes probably makes a similar product.
