TC33 gear drive deluxe

I saw a TC33 gear drive with all the features of a deluxe. It was a special order deal. It has the swivel seat, deluxe 3pt hitch, etc, which normally only comes with a hydrostat. So, if anyone wants a deluxe, but doesn't want a hydrostat (which is incomprehensible to me after owing a hydrostat for 3 years, but others may feel different) then they are available.

I could be wrong but, I don't think this tractor was a special order. With the new year model tractors I believe you have the option of a deluxe hydrostatic or deluxe gear or just a standard model gear tractor. I just purchased a TC24D Hydro and the dealer that I bought from also had a TC24D Gear. When he quoted me a price he made sure he was quoting the Hydro. I guess there was a demand for the extra little creature comforts that the D tractors had that the Gear Heads wanted. Blue to the rescue!

I saw a TC33D gear model a few weeks ago when I was looking at a new tractor. Right now it is not offered on anything larger than the TC33D. I was looking to buy a TC40 gear model so my dealer called his rep. to find out when the deluxe geared model would offered on the class III boomers. Rep said that he didn't think it would be anytime soon. I ended up buying a used 1920 that was in almost new condition.
