Having a problem with the starting timer for the glow plugs not coming on or not staying on long enough. Any answers or similar problems?

Welcome to TBN!

Are your glow plugs really not coming on or is the dash light not coming on? From what I can tell, assuming the TC33 is the same as the TC29D and I think it is, the timer only controls the light not the glow plugs. For explanation see this: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/new-holland-owning-operating/314940-tc29d-glow-plug-circuit.html?highlight=

I didn't get any response to the post above so I'd be interested to hear from others as well.

I ended up replacing my ignition switch with the factory New Holland switch. Regardless, from the schematic and my personal experience I am fairly sure the timer only controls the dash light, not the glow plugs directly.
