TC33D Grease Fitting Locations

I'm not sure if I'm finding all the lubrication points on my tractor or not. I've got one lube point list under my hood, one on page 3-2, 3-3, and 3-4 of my operator manual. Each of these four lists are similar and contain some of the same points, but they are not the same. I really wish there was a single complete list with a numbered diagram. Does anyone have such a list? If not, can someone tell me where the 2-Wheel Drive King Pins fittings are? How about the Steering Linkage? Does the 3-Point Linkage refer to the turn-buckle with the hand crank? I think the NH documentation is really poor on this issue.

Steve,
The King Pin is the vertical shaft attached to the front axle and has a steering arm attached to the top. It rotates when the wheels are turned left and right. The grease fitting should be straight up on top by the steering arm.

As for the 3-point, I grease the hand crank adjuster on the right side and then all the attachment point swivel ballls.

I only have the same list you have and was thinking of making up a "walk-around" checklist to get all the lube points. I'll post it when it's done, unfortunately it's about 900 on my list of the top 1000 things to do. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It sure would be nice if there was a one page document that listed all of the zirks. then you would not miss any of them. My book does show some of them but I really don't think they are all listed.

MikePA - That's the problem, the list on 3-3 is not complete. There are more listed on 3-2, and 3-4, and under the hood, but not shown on a diagram.

As Steve mentioned, there is some on other pages also. And even the ones that are on the other pages still does not make a complete list of what is on my tractor. I believe reading Steve's post he was looking for a one page document that listed ALL grease zirks. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Of the fittings listed on 3-2 and 3-4, the following are not on the diagram on 3-3

3-point linkage (the crank mechanism on the right side) - 1 fitting
Upper 3ph Link - 1 fitting
Clutch, HST and Brake Pedal shafts - 1 fitting each

Add these to the list on 3-3 and it's a complete list

There's no reference to 2-Wheel Drive King Pins in my manual.

Steering Linkage
2-Wheel Drive King Pins
3-Point Linkage
Pivot Shaft
Brake Pedal
Drive Shaft Cover
HST Foot Pedal
Power Steering

Also, if you don't happen to have SuperSteer there are a bunch of extra ones on 3-3.

I probably dont miss any, but a single list and diagram should have been provided by NH.

I agree.

BTW, I spent an hour one afternoon with the manual and a flashlight locating all the grease fittings, then I put bright green grease caps on every fitting.

The list under your hood matches the list on page 3-2, except for the 2-Wheel Drive King Pins. I don't believe 4wd drive tractors have these.
