Oil & Fuel tc33d hydraulic filter change spews oil big time

That's my point. The same site lists 2 parts diagrams for the DX55 (4 actually, 2 for sss and 2 for ehss), but only one for the TC55. If it does indeed take newer (different) parts, they might not stock them yet. Just my guess. Of course if Roto's TC55 was built prior to 2/2007, my reasoning is worthless.

I didn't go through the parts diagrams to find the filter, I looked at the hyd filters and found the only one that fit the 55.

yeah i already looked at messicks the other day and called my dealer and told them messicks rules and to go there if they need help. He just made a mistake or there book is wrong. I will look at the 951 and i can tell if its right or not.

I sent the wife today to pick up the hydraulic oil and filter to change mine on my TC55DA and after reading this I ran out to the truck to see what filter they gave me. My tractor stays at the lake place and that's 175 miles from home. Sure don't want to be pullin out a bruised up filter out of 11 gallons of drained old oil!!! Anyway they gave me the 951 filter so I'm guessing it's the correct one. Sure was glad to know that the hyd oil, trans, read differential, front differential and even the power steering all works on the same fluid.

my dealer showed me on the computer that the tc55d with sss takes the 960 and the Tc55D EHSS takes the 951 and he looked up sss by mistake. either what it says is correct or the computer is wrong.
