Thanks Kris. No need for chains yet. I have over 130 hrs of snowblowing "experience" now and have not even come close to getting stuck. One of my guys slid into a ditch but 4 wheel drive and low with the differential locked and it crawled right out. No weight in the tires either but the blower is quite heavy.
Most of my work is on paved roads, parking lots and driveways. Stacking or pulling snow does not seem to be a problem. Sometimes I just have to gear down. In fact, I've only switched to four wheel drive twice. Once to get out of that ditch and once to stack some really big piles. I don't want to mark up my customers driveways either so ... no chains.

If I can drive over the snow then I can blow it. So far, the deepest I've done is about two feet deep. That is probably the limit because the tractor starts to get stuck. The blower is specialized for what I do. Residential snowblowing. I don't let the snow get over 4" deep anyway so that my customers can always get out of their driveway. They might not be able to get down the street but ... they will always be able to get out of their driveway.
Would not be without the heated cab. Sometimes I'm out for over 24 or 36 hours and the protection is needed. I installed a mirror in the cab for driving on roads as well as the curtis heater, 4 work lights, fire extingusher and some hooks and things.

Nice looking blower, didn't know anyone still made inverse blowers. Decades ago a lot of cheap 'v' inverse blowers were sold, no cross-auger.

Anyhow, we get lots of drifting & high hard banks - I was driving through and over 2' drifts with my big tractor getting round bales yestrday, & this isn't too bad of a year for snow. The inverse blowers just don't work well on that deep wind-blown snow, so no one sells any 'here'. But I can see where it works well for you.

From the picture, it sure looks like the hyd hose is loose & could get entangled in the cross-auger. I'm sure it's just a lack of depth on the picture.

Paul,
I later tied the hoses up out of the way with a rubber strap. In the pic they are still at least 16" from the auger. Shouldn't be a problem but thanks for pointing it out.

Dylan,
How are the prices on these? Comparable to a standard 3pt? The guys out in the fab shop are already trying to talk me into converting my new blower to a front mount. I told them I had to at least wear some paint off first. Thanks, Mike

Mine was around $4000 canadian. At todays exchange that's about $3000 american dollars. Probably a little more than your standard 3ph blower. I'm not sure what a front mount goes for.

That's over a grand more than my Woods SS74... I don't mind looking backwards, and it's possible to whack down really massive drifts with the rear facing blower..

A front mount for a TC25 is in the 5K$ range.
Before I had my tractor I put out 1800$ for a rear reese hitch mounted snowman snowplow. http://www.snowmansnowplow.com/
I was leasing an F250 SuperDuty Crewcab and the dealer wouldn't put in writing that I wouldn't take a hit for mounting a blade on the front because the weight plus the diesel on the front end was supposedly near it's limit. Ofcourse when I went to pick up the plow there were 3 Superduty's sporting the new Boss plows. I added the 3pt pins and a center link once I got the tractor. But it was alittle too much. If there was a foot or more of heavy snow it would stop the tractor dead in it's tracks. I also couldn't pull the plow fast enough to throw the snow good. I'll probably put the thing up for sale in the next couple weeks. I haven't seen another one in Michigan since I purchased it. But it was nice to be able to back all the way up to the garage and drop this. Also, you never have to worry about snow hitting the windshield.

Snow hitting the windshield is never a problem for me, since I don't have one :)
