Well, after a whopping four hours of seat time and reading the owners manuals cover to cover, have a couple of questions/comments.
First, the way I read the owners manual, it says that I should use the clutch when changing gears. I thought that the clutch was only for the PTO, and as the tractor has a hydro, it makes no sense. In some spots, the manual specifies when the info only applies to the manual transmission or the hydro, but it didn't seem to in this particular section.
Second, the FEL control seems to be limited to either raising or lowering the loader or rolling the bucket forward or back, but not doing both at the same time, and that is what the diagram for the FEL control seems to indicate. Is that the way it is supposed to work? My neighbors Kubota and the other FEL's I have operated in the past allow(ed) you to roll the bucket at the same time you raise and lower the loader by pushing the lever diagonally instead of side to side or front to back.
Finally, went over to my neighbors place to show off the blue (he has a big Belarus and a Kubota). He drove it around a bit, liked it. He did notice that the lower left arm of the 3pt was rubbing on the inside of the tire. When I got home, I pulled the adjusting pins on the lower arms, moved the one on the left forward one position and the one on the right back one position (to the last hole). Tried it out going both directions on the slope behind my house, no more rubbing on the left side and didn't start on the right, so I guess it's good to go. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this sort of problem on a new tractor.
Other than that, so far, so good!!

Chuck
