TC33D
I am adding summit rear remotes to my TC33D tractor. Unlike most I decided to not use the PB from the FEL. I found a thread where you can add a Tisco HV4945 adaptor plate to tap into the PB where the new Holland stock Rear remote would plug in. I liked that idea better than running hoses back to the front. The adaptor plate replaces the rear remote "End Cap". The adaptor plate has three ports. I assume PB, P return and Tank.

In the case of a Summit Manifold for rear remotes I only have P and T to work with. There is no PB. The P comes from the PB port and the T goes to the Power Return to the tractor to complete the loop.

Question1:
I have seen comments on here that if you add additional valves that do not have a relief going to tank you can cause increased pressure upstream for the main pressure relief on the tractor and exceed that pressure reliefs setting. IF the main pressure relief blow off goes to tank we should not see this increase pressure. IF the main pressure relief blow off goes to the PB then I agree we would see this pressure increase. Well, any idea what is the case on a TC33D? I have seen both opinions here from smart people. I also respect Summit and they do not have three hoses in any of the kits I found. It must work since these are used on open center hydraulic systems only.

Question 2:
IF I wanted to add a pressure relief to my summit manifold is this possible? I have not looked into yet, but assume it can be plumbed into the T line that exits the manifold.

Question 3:
Does anyone know which port is which on the tractor behind the rear remote end cap? I am trying to determine which ports on the Tisco HV4945 is PB, PR and T. I plan to call Tisco to ask if nobody is familiar. I found a WOODs manual for a backhoe install and an image on this site. See attached image. Based on the Woods adaptor plate, I think I found the PB and the P return. The T though? Is it Port 1 or 2? If you look at the second picture of the adapter plate 2 is not open SO I assume 1 is the T, but do not want to just assume.

Thanks if you can help with any. And if this works, here is a weblink on where I bought my adaptor plate.

The system relief valve is in the diverter block that's now supplying the loader valve. That relief is in effect no matter what happens downstream, and has a path to sump when it opens. Pump output flow goes there first, so it's in play regardless of what you add anywhere else on the tractor.

I'm not familiar with that Tisco plate or the Summit kit, so I won't comment on that.

Thank you Harry! Knowing it goes to sump answers my first question. Running with this, I will not add a relief or need the sump port and I am good to go.

I spent a long time trying to look for this info. I will not add a backhoe, but others might and may want to to know the sump port then. If anyone out there knows the answer to question 3 post away.

As for the adaptor, I am sure few will be familiar with. The right hand view of the picture named "ports" above is of the tractor. If I can find out what those ports are I can trace it to the adaptor ports. These ports on the tractor are for the NH made remote valves that can be added. Anyone who installs the NH stock valves would not care what the ports are since the valve simply bolts in and it works.

I saw in another forum someone is confirming the hex nut plug is sump on the TC55. The valve cover on the 55 is different that the 33, but likely similar logic. The Hex on the TC33 cover does line up with the port 1 on the adaptor. So good chance that is sump. (Actually think 1 and 2 might both be for each side of the valve when it shifts)
