TC33D Retractable Seatbelt

Cub - I was thinking about this for my '79 1700, and I was wondering if it would be the same to use an automotive unit from the junkyard. Several older foreign cars used retractable rear units in the 80's before rear shoulder belts became the rule. A quick call to the local yard would give you an idea - they all bolt down with one bolt. I'm going to do this pretty soon - too bad I just gave away a Toyota with two of them in back /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif.

Mark, do you think they would be long enough? I think the seatbelt on my NH 1920 attatches lower than a car seatbelt, but I'm noy really sure.

Yes the retractable belt is now on the new Boomers. I do not know the price.
