TC33D - squeak front end

My little tractor has almost 400 hours on it now and since it has turned cold it will squeak when I begin to move forward. This only happens for the first little bit of operatioon. When the tempature is in the teens, it does not have to sit long to do it again. It soes not seem to matter if it is in Fwd Assist.

At 75 hours the front bearing began to slip in its seat and it sounds kind of like that but the noise is just instant for first little bit. Do others hear this sound when your tractor is cold? Is this just a hyd sound and I think it is comming from the front end? Other than this, the tractor is amazingly powerfull for such a small tractor for I was pulling alot of logs with it this weekend.

Please, don't reply that I should pump grease in the front end!

I have a TC29D which I think is pretty much the same tractor except for the motor. But I think all the other parts on it are about the same. At least when I was looking at the difference I couldn't see anything.

Any way mine has 75 hours on it and I keep it in a warm garage. When I do let it outside for any length of time it will make some weird noises at first. In fact sometimes I can't even move my tractor until it warms up some. I push the Hydro and it just kills. I usually attribute it to Hydraulic Fluids and warming up. Why yours did not do it right away I guess I can't say why. Is it possible your bearing is slipping again with the cold weather. Metal tends to shrink some and dissimilar metals shrink at different rates when it gets cold. the bearing slipping could be creating enough heat to seat itself again.

Squealing TC29D. I had a similar noise and I greased the front driveshaft and the noise went away.
