There is no kit nor plan to offer a retrofit kit for existing Class II compact tractors

Jason,

Is the answer the same for the Class 1 tractors? My TC18 doesn't have it. I wish it did. Sometimes we need a little remider that what we are doing isn't safe.

PS thanks for participating on TBN. We value the dealer's inputs.

As far as I am aware they are not offering a retro-fit kit. I think though that the new TZ18 and 21 will have all the saftey switches you could ever want!!!!

Thanks for the reply. Might be a good excuse to trade up to a TC24D. Probably have to wait untill I have kids & they are old enough to use the tractor before the wife will authorize it. Only 15 years to go /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Jason: Thanks for your informed input! I was wondering if you could tell me the model year of my TC33D. It is # GO 26553. I got it on 12/30/01, but think it might be a 2000. It would be great if you or someone else could post a list of model years by seriel nos. Thank you, Arthur

Golfgar4,
I purchased mine and have it serviced at F&I Equipment in West Bend. They have treated me very good, free pick-up and delivery (about 20 miles each way) while under warranty. I have also had some dealings with the dealer in Watertown, no purchases or service, just questions. They seem very nice as well. Are they anywhere near you or are you farther south?

Hey Stumpman, thanks for responding.

I'm just south of Madison. I've visited the NH dealers near Monroe, Johnstown, and Mt. Horeb.

West Bend isn't that far. I've decided that any dealer within a 1 hour drive (based on MY driving style! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif) is within range. I get over to the Milwaukee, Brookfield, and Wauwatosa area fairly regularly, so I may just have to swing up that way.

Watertown might be a bit of a stretch, but it could be close enough IF the price is right when we start dickering!

I know there are a lot more dealers of all colors in my 1 hour range, so I'll be busy for a little while yet. But I do prefer going to a dealer that someone has had some experience with.

Thanks for the info.! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
