Hey, I don't know what dealerships you were looking at but the price appears about right +/-. New Holland has been around a little longer than Kioti but that doesn't mean one is better than the other. I'm sure if you look at the specs, each will have their pro's and con's. I would suggest you test out each model and buy the one that performs the best for the work you will be doing with it for the majority of the time. Also dealer support is important. When spending this kind of money I tend to buy from local dealers. A dealer will 99% of the time try to keep his name clean with a local sale and take care of any warrantee item that may appear. I bought my TC40D from Chappell, Ted was more than reasonable to deal with and they stock normal maintenance items. Good luck.
