NH TC34DA 34HP HST, 2 rear remotes, front diverter, loaded R4's
I just noticed NH is listing a Soft cab under Variation DIA kits in TC34DA
Price at Messicks is $1017.

PN is 71066086
Anybody know what this is?

Answer to my own question.
Here it is low cost , everything is relative , soft cab. Looks like it would do what I want . Keep the snow blower drift out of my face. Can even get a windshield wiper with it. Still $1200 . Wish I could see one someplace.
I had to zip the attachment ,it was too big and it is a .pdf so I could not edit to make it smaller. Download it , save it somewhere ,then you can open it.

This cab is not real pretty but for the price will keep the snow blower stuff out of my face. I don't want a cab the rest of the year , I have all dense woods.
I ordered it from Messicks, they had the best price. But it has to come by truck and as it turns out not the best price when trucking to a residence is folded in. Very annoying.
I have not been able to find a place around here to drop it off at. So my wife and I decided to take our small trailer down there, 200 miles, and then stop at Steamtown on the way back. One night in a motel equals the savings but I get to see big engines and a tour of the locomotive shop. I guess I could cancel the order and get it local but then I do not get to see Steamtown.
I will post pictures when I get it installed.

ok Picked up my cab from Messicks on Friday. Amazing how you can get a 48" part through a 47" opening. Actually 2 parts the top frame and the lid.
The opening was the diagonal across my subaru outback rear hatch. I did not feel like towing a trailer down there 4 hrs one way for a 100# package.
I would have tied the two pieces on top if I had to.
Messicks is quite the place.
We stopped overnight at Scranton PA , had a great dinner and spent SAT at Steamtown NHS. If you ever get there make sure you take the tour of the locomotive rebuilding shop. If I lived closer my wife would never see me.
On to the cab. You get what you pay for. Or build it yourself. As I mentioned before this was $1017. What I got is well made , parts fit so far, attachment points are correct. this is a NH class 2 , not much room for a cab and with the structure in place feels smaller. I sat under the lid for the first time today and it must have been 10d cooler in the shade. I may leave the lid on all year round. not finished yet

Finally got back to this install. Wife insists on doing other things when she is off. Weirdest thing. Everything fit as advertised. It feels a little claustrophobic but what else could you expect with a class 2. I ran around today in the pouring rain with no doors. It worked well. I had the doors on but took them off. I have not actually been inside with the doors on yet. It is hotter inside with the cutains on then with just the lid on. I am not sure what I am going to take off in the summer besides the doors. The way the doors go on require wrenching on two bolts. one of the pictures shows the lower bracket that holds the door on. Either the top or the bottom bracket has to come off to remove the door. I left the brackets on so I would not lose them. The one in the picture , lower, is a shirt tearer. It would be better if the doors dropped on pins. But then the pins would tear your shirts. It is nice that the cab falls in front of the ROP bar, I can keep my shovel and hoe in place. I wonder what would happen during a roll over. I would think even with a seat belt on one would get hurt by the cab squashing as it came around. I don't want to find out. I think even the cabs that are more solid would come squash during a roll over except if they are part of the ROPS. My MF30E Hoe has a cab like that. All in all I am satisfied by the quality, pricing and function.

If anyone wants big pictures so they can see detail ask PM or here

Nice job --looks cool.

Did you add the step or did it come with the soft cab?

Bought the step separate . It is listed in the Spare parts docs. Expensive but I caught my foot one time getting out. fell flat out on my elbow ,rolled over and hit my ear on the wheel rim. Brake was set , engine was off, bucket was down and transmission was in neutral. None of that helped . The step is better for getting in. Getting out I try to grab onto something, sometimes use the step.
I have often thought about a handle on the back of the FEL post.

thanks for that info.
That sounds like something that would happen to me.
Hows the elbow?

Your idea sounds good, wonder if they make anything like that.

I am fine now but I have noticed the older I get the longer everything takes to stop hurting. Around 8 months for jammed fingers and pulled muscles.
I try to be careful but it does not always work. Since I retired I have more time and spend a few hours a week at the gym on strength machines. That seems to help not getting banged up so much. Not exactly a tractor topic but I think it is a common issue.
