Hi All, I joined the forum hoping maybe someone knew what the problem was or could offer up some advice. My family owns a New Holland TC35A tractor and have never had any major issues with it. Today (while I was at work) my father was doing some brush-hogging and what I THINK may have happened is that he had the brushhog set too low so it started eating dirt instead of grass. It was on a slight slope, not much of a grade. Not being there I'm not sure entirely what happened after that but he stopped the tractor and was unable to get it to move again.
You can start the tractor and the engine seems like it runs fine. The PTO can be engaged and its seems that the mower turns and operates correctly. You can put it in gear but when you go to set it either to forward or reverse it doesn't move. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?
