TC35D - Transmission Input shaft broken

Just got a new (to me) TC35D, was out clearing some land and suddenly I was moving in reverse out of control. Shut it down, remembered a forum posting about the input shaft being weak on these, so I was able to get it back to the shop. Problem is, I don't know what the part is actually called so I can get prices etc. It was one of the 2 tack weld ones, but the it broke the shaft inside the cruise control/stop plate thing. Can anyone identify the part or part number?

Also, any parts/operating/ and especially service manual links to purchase would be extremely helpful!

That definatily has a botched repair on it already . you can see where someone ground off the gold coating and bogger welded it . Areal weld shop can fix it for half the price of new . if you want new any NH dealer will hook you up.:drink:

Yeah, that's kind of why I was thinking about getting a new one. Don't want to get it back in place only to have it fail again. The people that maintained it last, were creative with their fixes, so I expect there'll be some adjustments I have to make. Need to get that service manual too! Hoping its not too difficult to install.

It is the Trans Pivot Assembly - Trans Pivot listed under the Transmission HST PEDALS Assembly.

NH Part # 87300017 (New its like $240.00)

It was used in models:TC45DA, T2320, TC35D, T2310, TC35DA, TC40D, TC40DA so you may be able to find a used one at some of the tractor salvage places...

I have found the Messick's website NH online parts diagrams very helpful to identify parts and get an idea of how things go together. Dlctcg's post has the part number. Messick's has 3 in stock for $242.40 plus you pay shipping. They have been very helpful folks when I have called to order parts.

It got here ahead of schedule by 2 days! I wasn't able to get the replacement part in place, there just isnt enough room under there to get it in the pivot hole and horizontal to the transmission. Looks like the only way to get it in there is to remove the front end loader bolts, to get to the platform support bracket that the shaft pivots in. I've been looking for a manual, have found them anywhere from 35 bucks to 300 bucks. Does anyone have the part number for the manual (or the page or two that I need).
