I have a TC40DA, the hydraulics seem slow moving the loader up. I have changed the oil, the filters. Any ideas

Is there a hydraulic filter on your tractor or a screen on the pump inlet?

"Seems slow". . . "seems slow". . . . That leaves a lot to the imagination since someone old and decrepit like myself might think your "slow" was "fast.";)

Seriously, there are data for loader raise and lower times. You need to have those and make a comparison. That way you can quantify the speed of your loader to a number we can all relate to. Saying "slow" or "fast" is begging for a subjective judgement. Here are the numbers for comparison at 2600 rpm:

1. Bucket raise time to maximum - 4.2 seconds
2. Lowering time from maximum - 3.2 seconds
3. Bucket dumping time - 1.9 seconds
4. Bucket rollback time - 2.6 seconds

Please help us out by testing and recording some numbers.:)

You could also measure the actual flow, but that is a much more complex thing to do. The times will give an indication of overall system health.
