Interesting thread-- my TN70 went to the dealer for 50hr, came back and the temp gauge barely hits the bottom of "cold"-- used to run up 1/3 in the green. And the engine is cold, it makes a lot more noise cold than hot.... when the needle finally drags itself up to the bottom of cold the engine quiets down significantly, but not all the way to normal running temp level.
Although the temps are lower by 20F than before the 50hr, that isn't (or shouldn't) be enough to make much of a difference when the low last time I ran it was 50F.
