Had my new TC40D delivered Friday and was underneath it on Sat. I parked it in front of the Barn and couldn't get it started. I reviewed the manual (totally useless and worthless) and found it contained nothing that could help me! (I know at this point you are shocked) I suspected one of the safety switches (having had that problem before) and traced the seat switch but no luck there. I called the dealer and was told that the mechinac went home at noon (!....?) but someone would call me back. I did recieve a call and began to trace a number of wires under the operator's station . They were all loose and hanging in "mid-air"! Sure enough one of them that appeared connected was not and that proved to be my solution. SO! BEWARE!! If you can't start.....better check under the operator's station for a loose wire! Congrats to the tech dept at NH for coming up with something my kids would have done!!!!! (the spaghetti western) On an other point.....does anyone have a good source for a troubleshooting guide for the NH TC40D? I probably could use one.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who provided valuable insight into my tire decision.......I went with the ag's.
