The more I lube it the worse it gets. I removed the seat to get to the top to lube it and there are no grease serts. Need more help what do you suggest? Thank you!

When you removed the seat, did you check whether it is the valve or the lever linkage that is stiff? If the valve rotates too stiff, you have to lube the input shaft with some thin penetrating oil. You may have to actually disassemble the valve body carefully, trying not to damage the o-ring seals. I've heard of a couple that got gummed up. On the bottom of the valve are two tubes going into the PTO clutch below, so if you can do all this without taking the valve out, it would help insure something else doesn't get messed up.

If it's the lever and lever pivot that are the problem, you have to take out the bolt on each end of the pivot shaft and remove it from the three levers that use this shaft for a pivot. I would remove the grey plastic side panel to make this job easier. Once the shaft is removed, it can be cleaned of dirt and corrosion and then lubed and reassembled. All three levers should work easier after this: HST Range lever, PTO lever, and FWD lever.

I have had a similiar issue and it was due to the linkage being bound up..If got bent a little bit and had to be taken apart and greased like ginman said. I had to also shim mine away for the transmission where it mounts because it was binding a little there no matter how much grease I used. A simple flat washer did the trick and gave it a nice smooth surface to rotate on. Give it a shot....

Mine sticks after it has sat all winter. If I were to move it a few times in the off-season it probably wold not do this. This spring it was stuck again. To fix it, I put a pair of pliers on the shaft itself by reaching in behind the tire. I worked the shaft back a forth gently a few times and all was well. Since I use the PTO weekly in the summer I do not have any more trouble.
