I am in the market to add a 4 in 1 bucket to my TC40DA. Anyone running a 4 in 1 on theirs? What brand/model number are you running? How do you like it? What was the cost for the bucket? Thanks....

We don't have one for our TC45DA but we do have one on our F6640 it's a quick detach. It's a great tool but my concern on the smaller tractor is the weight of the bucket. Adding the pistons and hydraulics plus the added steel for the parts of the bucket will add a lot more weight to the loader. Our 17LA on the TC45DA stalls as it is when you go into a pile or try to lift a heavy load in the bucket. I don't know how well it would handle with the extra weight of the 4in1

Thank you for your thoughts. The BRADCO 4 in 1 weights about 400 pounds and the loader safe lift capacity is 2000, so I should be ok for my application. A friend has a 4 in 1 on a similar sized JD and he loves it. I was just poking around to see if anyone had one on a TC40. Again, thanks for your input.

Bravo for Bradco! The OEM New Holland QA bucket (72") weighs about 360 lb. If Bradco can get a 4-in-1 at 400 lb, they really have a winner. My rock bucket with a grapple weighs somewhere close to 700 lb and I still have enough lift power for plenty of work to get done. I don't think you will have a problem with the weight of the 4-in-1, but I don't have one and really can't give you first hand info.

Jim,

I made a slight error. The BRADCO 72 inch 4 in 1 weights 425 pounds. Not a big difference, but I wanted the information posted to be correct.

The other one I'm looking at is the Construction Attachments Compact 4-in-1 Multi-Purpose Bucket. This one weighs a bit more at 500 pounds but the price may end up being the deciding factors.

The BRADCO is $2879 and the Construction Attachment 4 in 1 is $2148. The only big difference that I see is that the BRADCO clamshell can open 28 inches while the Construction Attachment opens 19 inches.

I'd love to see both live and in person, but I'd have to travel down to NC from CT which is not really going to happen.
