NH TC40DA with Jodale Perry cab, NAA Jubilee
The Jodale Perry cab for the TC40DA has been installed and I am now warm inside while the snow swirls around outside. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm gonna try and post a few Pics.

The last one. Really like the comfort. I have it installed so that I can remove it for for the summer but I might just remove the door and the side window. I'll try that first.

Can anyone tell me how to attach a file to the body of a message or a number of photos.

Thanks
Dave

Very nice looking cab! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you mean inline images, it can be done by clicking on the IMAGE Instant Markup link. However, inline images are not encouraged because it 'forces' everyone, including those who connect by a modem, to download the picture.

The only way to attach more than one photo is to combine several pictures into a single file, then attach that file.

That's an interesting design with the fender risers and what looks like a vent out the rear of the cab. Also, I noticed that the upper section of your ROPs had to go. Does the heat come from the engine coolant or is it electric heat? (I think I saw coolant quick-connects on the right side.) The pictures tell a lot, but there are some things you can't see. Does it fog up at all inside or does it stay pretty clear?

It's really a nice cab. If I lived where you do, I'd be looking for some protection and warmth also. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Without a doubt one of the nicest cabs that I have seen.

I have it installed so that I can remove it for for the summer

Can you elaborate on your statement, what did you do any differently when installing you cab to make it easier to remove.

How long will it take to remove the cab in the summer months?

Did you just need to unbolt the top section of your ROPS?

questions, Questions, QUESTIONS.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks!

MikePA:
Thanks for the guidance on the photos. I'm on dialup so I know what slow is.

jinman & PineRidge:
Yes you saw some quick-connects on the heater hoses. The heater uses the engine coolant. It is mounted in a console at the front of the cab in the ceiling. The controls for the fan, heat and wipers are on the same console facing the operator. There is lots of airflow in the cab. A two speed secondary fan seen in one of the pictures pushes air towards the rear and circulates it around pretty well. I have been out in -25 with the secondary fan on low and the heater on about 3/4 heat and fan and I stay warm. As well snow hitting the windows melts. I wear insulated coveralls but have them unzipped and my hat and gloves are off. No fog on all that glass. I had many questions for the dealer and I was a bit sceptical of his claims but I am very pleasantly surprised with the design and comfort.

I asked the dealer to mount it so I could remove it if I felt the need. Hence the quick-connects on the heater hoses and the electrical.

Depending on how far into the bush I want to go....I may or may not remove the cab. The fellow who put it on says they have removed them in about 3 hours (without the quick-connects) It comes straight up after unbolting from the frame and the ROP.

The cab is a tubular steel frame bolted to the tractor frame and then the ROP. Tempered glass is bolted to this frame. You have to remove the top section of the ROP and the fender handles. Rubber spacers are on the bolting points.

It is easy to see out of (all around and down to the 3PH).

I'm really happy with the design and comfort and my wife is too!
