Yep, lifting the implement is the trick. I attached/detached the bush hog and was able to insert/remove the pins without a problem.

The lubricant sounds like a good idea.

Thanks again!

Remember, only a dry lube however. Anything oily or greasy will just get full of dust and dirt and be more of a problem than nothing at all.

( Yep, insert and remove while in the air. ) hmmm, if those are the pins that keep ur lower stabs in place, (and same as a 5610) I think i'd lower what ever was attached as much as possible before taking them out. A swinging 3 point hitch implement is NOT something i want to be near (or in between that and a tire or what have you)

Josh I think most members are assuming that you are on somewhat level ground before you pull the pins. I try to drop the implements on level ground so the next time that they are needed it's much easier for a hook-up. The pins always come out and are put in easier if the implement is off the ground and you can nudge it a bit from side to side to align the holes. Once it's on the ground, well you better have a long 2 by 4 to use as a lever.

PineRidge-
I understand what you mean, as i also like to do whatever i can to make hooking/unhooking easier. I was just thinking that with the stabilizers full up or above horizontal, that the implement would have a tendency to shift and fall/sway to one side or the other. maybe it doesnt /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif or maybe my bigger implements (7ft bush hog mower) are more of a problem. Cant say i wont try to take the pins out w/o raising the 3ph first, it just wont be up very high

I think you have a handle on it. As you already know, all you really have to do is get the implement just off the ground to stabilize it with the pins, or even remove them the same way.
