I am looking at a trade on a WM 55 or Deere 5055E. I have been a customer of the NH dealer for 14 years and have bought all my implements and all service/tractor and rentals from them. They were recently bought by a competitor and merged with a Kubota dealership but are still a NH dealer. The service has been great, sales great, staff awesome. But....looking at a trade for a WM 55 FWD with bucket (or Deere pending their offer) I'm somewhat shocked by what they'll offer me in trade. Let me run down quickly what my TC40DA has on it for options (it just doesn't meet my needs I need more of an ag tractor). Then please tell me ballpark what you think I should be offered (roughly.) He told me his offer is very good and I won't do better anywhere else.
*2003 machine TC40DA hydrostatic
*4 Wheel drive
*Stored indoors
*816 hours (yes, about 75 hours a year is all)
*Immaculate condition
*Brand new seat as the original got torn
*ALL service done properly and on time at this dealership
*No history of any problems whatsoever
*HD NH loader with carbide tooth fork (16LA? Can't remember the model now.)
*Rear top link hydraulic with remote
*Rear side link hydraulic with remote
*ROPS mounted work lights front and rear
*Original industrial tires in 70% condition
*Paint is about 90%
*Both front and rear tires are filled with non tox fluid
*Wheel weights
He's offering the Workmaster 55 at $28,000 with loader (FWD) and $12,500 in trade. I thought it was low, he said the machine at retail is only worth $14 to $15,000 tops. If this is indeed low I may sell it outright myself if I can.
