JC, it's been so long now that I never think about it very often. If the OP hadn't mentioned that the pedals weren't working right, I'd have not thought about this problem. If I were a betting man, I'd bet my original post got some attention somewhere at New Holland and they corrected most of the issue. You'd never know it by any communications, but they did change the part. I'm just surprised a recently built tractor could have this problem. Since the OP hasn't posted back, I'm still not sure if that was the issue. I'd like to know and I'm sure many others would also like to hear his final resolution.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFO. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE. I TOOK THE TRACTOR TO THE DEALER OR ACTUALLY THEY HAD TO PICK IT UP. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT WARRANTY WILL COVER THIS DESIGN FLAW OTHERWISE IT WILL COST ME AROUND $900 FOR MATERIAL AND LABOR. THIS REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE EITHER WAY IT COULD HAPPEN AGAIN.

Sorry about your misfortune. I can identify with all your feeling right now. The good news is that it will probably be fixed and it will never happen again. I feel sorry also for your dad. I can imagine how he must have felt, thinking it was something he had done wrong.

My 2310 did the same thing. HST pedals were off center and felt funny. Tractor had difficulty going into gear and holding neutral. I looked under floorboard at pedal linkage, "E" clip was missing off pedal pivot shaft causing cam to roller mis-alignment. Local auto parts store had clip that fit.
