Looking to trade in a 88 5610 for a new tractor. Need a cab and FEL. This will be used for haying and blowing snow. Either a 40 or 45hp. What can I expect a good or decent price to be. Located in western, NY. I'd like a rough ball park figure before I go to the dealer.

Welcome to TBN! You will find a ton of great advice and information here. As you will see in my signature, I own a TC40DA. I purchased it after several weeks of research here. It is a great tractor.

One of the things I learned was that CUTs don't make the best haying tractors. At least not with traditional large balers. I traded an old Ford 4000 that was in the same HP range, but a much heavier tractor. I had used the 4000 to bale a few acres, but I won't be using my TC40DA for baling. If you use the search feature, you will find lots of posts on both haying and blowing snow. There are folks with lots of experience in both and they can give you great advice.

You might also tell us more about how you plan to use the tractor - how much haying?

This part isn't as much fun as owning, but we are all making large investments and you want to get it right.
