I am new to this forum and am not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question? I am close to purchasing a new TC40DA with a 16LA loader and either a Bradco 509 or 408 back hoe, plus a post hole digger, back blade, box blade scraper and a brush hog. Any advice for me either pro or con? Thank you

Real nice set up. I have both a Bradco and NH backhoe. Like them both. Did you consider the DASS. The Super Steer is a really great option and comes with auto front wheel assist and hydro. Not sure where you are located but I might be interested in selling my TC40DASS. Send me a PM if you have some interest.

My neighbor has the almost identical Case DX40 and loves it. I have not seen any posts yet that say 'I wish I had bought the smaller backhoe'. This tractor really needs weight in the rear when using the loader. Plan on leaving one of your attachments on the three point for loader work or buy the wheel weights. Some of these tractors have been delivered without the HST adjusted so the forward and reverse speeds are about equal. The forward is okay but the reverse is painfully slow. Check before you take delivery and have the dealer adjust it or search this forum for the simple instructions on how to do it yourself. Good luck!
