There are lots of connections to the diverter block. The most susceptible to leakage is the one where the pressure fitting from the pump attaches to the front of the diverter. Is that where yours is leaking. Can you be a bit more descriptive or post up a photo? If you looked at the parts diagram, can you list the item numbers of the leaking o-ring seals?

Are you talking about the PTO diverter block on the front of the main diverter? It's the one numbered #2 in the top illustration below. It has a valve and spring under that large round hex head plug. There is also an o-ring seal there. The PTO diverter is calibrated to send 0.8 gpm to your PTO system to operate the PTO clutch/brake.

EDIT: Actually the plug on the front of the PTO diverter valve is only a plug. The actual diverter valve spool and calibrated spring are accessed from the back side of the valve. I've added a photo that shows the large hydraulic suction line that is in the way of getting to the backside of the valve.

After looking at the NH parts diagram, I can see why you are confused. They completely screwed up the illustration. They have the PTO diverter valve on the wrong side of the main diverter valve in this illustration. You can tell that by looking at the spring clip (part #8). It's on the outside of the diverter valve as you look at it from the right side of your tractor. The valve parts are all correct, but the valve bodies are drawn in the wrong position. Nevertheless, the o-rings shown as part #20 are what you need to seal your PTO diverter spool and plug/cap on that part of the diverter and have nothing to do with the main hydraulic pressure. If you put that PTO diverter back together carefully, you should not have to worry about changing any pressures or causing any additional problems. You will just have to remove the main suction pipe going to the main hydraulic pump to gain access and that's no small job in itself. Bracket #5 in the second diagram bolts directly to the PTO diverter body.

There are lots of aftermarket transmission fluids that will be fine. I would stay away from the lower-cost fluids that say only "hydraulic fluid." What you want is one that has a label that says "hydraulic/transmission fluid" or "premium transmission/hydraulic fluid." The plain hydraulic fluids are meant for tractors that do not have HST transmissions. The transmission fluids have the proper amount of detergents and are multi-grade so that they keep your HST clean. The reason you have an HST filter in addition to the main hydraulic filter is to ensure the critical cleanliness of the fluids going to your transmission.

Here's a good fluid from Tractor Supply Company. It's significantly cheaper than the New Holland Multi-G 134.

BTW: I'd stick with the o-rings from New Holland. That way you know you'll get the exact sizes and the proper rubber compound. Sure, you pay way more for the one from the dealer, but I always take comfort knowing the part is correct.
