Sorry not to hyjack your thread. I was thinking if it might be a good idea to
put a screen in the system at some point to filter out big chunks of stuff.
Something along the lines of fine window screen, nothing to restrict flow but
some to catch visible debris.

I am think you have some debris in you system that is moving around causing
you issues. I would drain the PS system completely and refill and see if that
helps. I might take a few flushes to complete.

I put a gauge and valve at the steering cyl hose, while turning wheel pressure would slightly go up . When I shut valve and turned wheel pressure went way up, so disconected other line at cyl after turning wheel hard right by hand and turned steering wheel right and out the cylinder end come out fluid, so fluid was bypassing cyl seals (ripped seals ?? ). So took cyl off and rod came right out( sterring link was stoping rod from coming out) took cyl apart and nut came off shaft . So I'm going to order new gland seal and o-ring for piston while it's apart and put it back together. Thanks for everyone help . What king of oil should be used ?

What king of oil should be used ?

NH recommends Ambra Multi-G 134. Did you purchase this unit new or used?
If used I would look closely at what is in the PS system and if it does not
look like 134 then I would drain and purge every part of the system you might
have more bad seals. And refill with 134.

Let us know what you find out.

seals weren't bad i'm just changing them while i have the cylinder appart. looks to be 134 in it just wanted to confirm. thanks. also lately my glow plugs wont come on until the key is in the start position an not in the on position. i remember reading about the relay for this , anyone know the part # off the top of their head ? it's a 2005 model

The glow plug timer is part number SBA385870301, and about $65.
