TC45D Cruise Control Problem

   / TC45D Cruise Control Problem #11
I have a similar issue. It seems that the magnet doesn't hold as well as it did when new. When energized with 12 volts, it magnetizes, but I can pull it off relatively easily. It does have a bit of crud on the surface, but doesn't seem to me to be enough for it to slip. Is there a way to measure the holding power and if so, is there a spec for this?

If you checks its impedance the manual says it should read 11-12 ohms.
